Anonyme: What advice would you give to a person that is afraid to come out as transgender?
Find a safe community first, ask them how they dealt with it, find out who YOU are and begin with trusted friends and family. There is no sense in not being who you are but the world is still very far behind. Caution is, sadly, advisable. But communities are easy to find, thanks to the internet.
